Lisa Edelstein was an American actress, best known as the star of Fox's House medical drama. After being raised by traditional Jews from Wayne, New York City was her destination to study the theater at Tisch. The school soon became a fixture in New York's club scene and began making headlines. Press also was impressed by her. Then she used her experience along with her fame and training to compose and write an original musical entitled Positive Me and also starred in the show. In the following year, she was hired by MTV to be the host of Awake On The Wild Side. She began to appear in film and television productions after the series ended.
