Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson, an American singer-songwriter director and producer is also a writer. Her most famous role is acting as Tara Maclay from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson also directed her own films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and was the leading actress in those films. She was also part of the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born to a psychiatrist as well as the wife of Diane Benson, was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8, 1977. Danielle Benson is her artistic younger sister. Benson was raised in the Reform Synagogue by the Reform Jewish mother and Jewish father. Benson's career has been booming following the ending of Buffy. She appeared in films such as The Killing Jar, and shows such as Morganville The Series. While behind the lens Benson also used her creative talents to develop her own Ghosts of Albion television series. In 2010 she directed Drones. Buffy claims that she's discovered and counted over 1800 Slayers with 500 who collaborate with members of the Scooby Gang. Slayers will now become Slayers after they have reached maturity. Soledad's Slayer power was revealed on her sixteenth Birthday. Ruth Connell has been cast as Rowena for the upcoming season of 10 Supernatural. She's a mysterious witch of the past from the school.
