Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress, musician and playback vocalist on Tamil films as well as Malayalam film. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam and Malayalam debut with Annayum raolum. Andrea Jeremiah was born into an Anglo-Indian Family in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea Jeremiah's father is a lawyer who is a lawyer at the Madras High Court. Her older sister is currently working and living in Leuven Belgium working as a Research assistant. Jeremiah was brought up within Chennai. He attended National Public School. After his graduation, he attended Women's Christian College. She has said that she was a geek and wanted to be a psychiatrist after passing her 12th board exams.Andrea began studying classical piano at the age of eight. Young Stars is a Jackson Five style group that was her first group in the age of 10 that was the basis of her music and singing career. While at college she was also an actor and appeared in stage shows that were put on through The Madras Players. She was president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's stage career started with Girishkarnad's Nagamandala. The year 2006 saw her starred in a new leo advertisement along with actor Shiva. She also acted on Podhigai Channel on a TV show. The actress has performed across India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's finale (2005). She sang for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. The director asked her to play one of his female leads for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea played Kalyani the homemaker who's husband has an extramarital affair. Andrea won the role of Kalyani following Simran Shobana, Tabu and other actresses were approached. The film was released in early the year 2010. It was first released in Venkat's Mankatha in 2011, which starred a number of actors. Annayum Rasoolum from Rajeeev Ravi the romantic comedy she made her debut in Malayalam in, was released on the 11th of August, 2013.
