Angela Sun

Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County in California on the 19th of October, 1979. She is an American journalist and sportscaster. She is also a documentary film maker and TV presenter. Angela Sun is a multi-award winner journalist, sportscaster, and producer. She graduated from University of California with a degree in sociology and communications. Sun was a pro at surfing and took part in a variety of pro-am Surf events which led to her being sponsored by large brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans etc. The attention she received due to this fact was like a slingshot to propel her into the entertainment business. Later on, she went into the field of filmmaker, reporter for investigative reporting and sportscaster. Sun has worked for many channels, primarily as an anchor. In 2003, Sun was the Fox Sports Net Correspondent. In addition, she co-hosted American Ninja Warrior in 2012 along with Matt Iseman, Jonny Mosley and Jill Moseley. Sun was the host of The Yahoo Sports Minute in 2014. She was the sole Asian-American to appear in the ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun was a part of a number of movies, and her skills as an actor have been acknowledged and appreciated. Sun was in films such as Goliath (2016) as well as Hit the Floor(2014-2016) The Perfect Getaway(2009) Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008), and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). In 2014 Sun came out with Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch the feature-length documentary about marine pollution caused by plastic and how it affects the ecosystem. Sun wrote, she directed and wrote.
