Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into an ethnically diverse family from South London. The father of her is Nigerian as well as Swiss, while the mother of her is English. Her family was on the southern part of London Council Estate, and then attended The Brit School aged 14. She was a student at an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned an acting BA. While attending the academy, she appeared in a number of stage productions, including The King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career through a short film called Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances as a guest for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her first role in a film was Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Following that success she was cast as Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as appearing in the six episodes of Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, she was cast as Bambi as the main character in ITV2's comedy Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also starred as the lead character in How to lose friends & make people feel alienated, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2008. She has performed in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path, composed by David Watson.
Madekwe first aired in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series ran in the US on The CW for only two episodes before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character in ABC's Revenge drama series, was cast for her as Ashley Davenport. Madekwe's departure from the series was officially announced in May of 2013. Following two seasons as a main character, she was a guest in the first episode of season 3. From 2014 until the year 2016, she appeared on Salem in the role of Tituba. Madekwe, her long-time companion, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They have worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also had a role alongside her on the TV series Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Her parents Roy and Patty along with her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram and Bram, were present. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey in the summer and winter. She grew up in the arenas and baseball. Ashley did not walk, but she did dance, so when she was two and a half she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love with. That was the start of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley continued to perform competitively throughout high school in top divisions such as ballet, tap, Jazz Pointe, Acrobatics, Pointe Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and many more. She also won top soloists awards in all important dance competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
