Julia Fiona Roberts, born on October 28, 1967, on the 28th of October, 1967 in Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Julia Fona Roberts is the fourth generation Roberts living in Atlanta. Her father was keen interest from a young age in theater. He was a part of his Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions around Atlanta. He joined the air force in 1953 and, while being stationed at Biloxi Mississippi, was cast in a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was part of the Air force. In 1955, they got married and, in 1956, their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter was studying at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In 1957, the couple left the airforce and Walter began his studies at Tulane University. Walter was employed to work for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to assist on the stage of the television show Bum Bum His Buddies in Decatur Georgia. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. They also established a six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later that same year. Lelisa Billingsley who is also referred to as Lisa, was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
