Mena Alexandra Suvari (born on 13 February 1979) is an American actress fashion designer and model. She started her modeling career in 1990. She soon shifted into acting following guest appearances on television series like Boy Meets World or High Incident. In 1997, she made her debut as an actor in the film Nowhere. Her performances were in American Beauty, for which she was awarded an BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie made her the focus of a wider attention. In 2000, she starred with her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. She then played her role as the main character as the lead character in Sugar & Spice (2002).
