Kelly Clarkson, an American performer, songwriter, and actress who was crowned the American Idol competition in its initial season. She was America's Sweetheart. The show's winning that ushered Kelly Clarkson's name to the forefront and fortune, but it also secured her an agreement to RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records to release a variety of albums. Since her debut her album, she's released several albums. Three of those albums reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The other albums were also close to reaching the top position. She's among the most popular performers to emerge from American Idol. She was a bit flimsy as she found popularity with diverse musical and theme styles. She often composed her own songs. As a result of her uniqueness and skill as a singer her work was recognized by reviewers and was awarded a couple of important prizes. In particular, she's won Grammy Awards three times. Grammy Award three times. In addition to her musical career, she has also appeared in movies and television shows. She is also the author of the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charitable organisations.
