Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. The mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former bank executive, as well as Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist named Anya Taylor-Joy. The daughter is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descent. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. The family was originally located in Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria when Taylor-Joy turned 6. Taylor-Joy said she was painful, and she refused to go back to school in English as she wanted to go back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she switched from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. When she was 16, she quit the school to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor began in the early years of her life. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first person who hired her to be an experienced model.
